(From sources around the web.)
I was wondering who made them and you did the work to actually find out. Kudos

I might be wrong in 25,000 miles but they’re great so far.
I’m beginning the search for a good one for my 245/50/R20 wheels. How do you like the Continentals? Still good?

Bought a used 2015 Grand Touring in April. It came with Michelin Premier LTX 245/50R20. They're decent but will be looking to replace them before the drive to FL

Has the car been recently/routinely inspected for other potential sources of the noise(s)? There could be other factors at play than the tires...but also 45k for one set of tires is fantastic.

Ironman tires are marketed by Hercules. To find who made them you need the 2 or 3 character manufacturer code from the first part of the DOT on one sidewall of the tire. By the way, the last four digits of the code are the week and year of manufacture.

What's the wah wah wah sound...is that the rough feel at low speeds like stopping at a light around 20 mph?

This is a very old thread....last response was 09-27-2022 10:58 PM

what are you asking?

If it what you are experiencing that sound then you or someone likely did belt or side wall damage to the tire.
