Hi everyone! I just got a 2012 CX-9 touring and I love it! it came without 2 things that I really wanted, the auto dimming rear view mirror with homelink and fog lights. I already installed the mirror and am now tackling the fog lights. Ok here's my question.


my light switch harness as a black wire in terminal D According to the instructions, there should either be a blue/yellow wire there or nothing at all (if nothing they tell you what to do). I tried splicing into the black and removing the black and going straight blue/yellow in that terminal but the fog lights won't light. the fuse if fine. I did some troubleshooting and when I manually connect the blue/yellow to the black, I fell and hear the relax click but the lights don't light up. I connected the lights directly to the battery and they do work. any ideas? I'm thrown off how my harness has a black wire in terminal D but the instructions claim it should be empty or have a blue/yellow. thanks!
