2009 CX-9 RPM's go to 5000 when starting
Hello,
My car is at 105K now so I thought replacing the spark plugs and some other basic maintenance would be a good idea. I replaced all 6 spark plugs, etc. and put everything back together. I also cleaned the throttle body and MAF, I used CRC's MAF cleaner and CRC's throttle body cleaner. When I turn the car on it immediately goes to 5000 RPM's. I have been reading in hopes of figuring this out... all I can find is some folks are saying the throttle body needs to relearn idle (but thats generally for around 2K RPMs, not 5K). Vacuum leak maybe? Anyone have any ideas on what would make it immediately jump to 5K RPM's??
