We hit extraordinary winds while carrying a pod and kayak on the roof racks. Never had any problem before, but the pressure seems to have been too much this time. The cross bar itself looks fine, but the piece on the end that slides into the rack is split/sheared right at the rack. It looks like the cross bar can only be replaced as a whole unit and only in a pair. Does anyone know if you can order only that small part? Otherwise I may as well replace both bars...
