RE: where to get service manuals???
Yes there is. Service manuals have just now come out for the CX7. We just got ours last Thursday for 2007 MY including the CX7.
Will check to see if apart number for shop manual is valid yet on network.

Sorry about that precisionboost. Never got back to give you the part numbers.
Workshop manual is 9999-95-034B-07 with retail of $150.
Wiring diagrams is 9999-95-068G-07 with retail of $75.
These are for USA spec vehicles so do not know how much different they will be for Canada. Wiring diagram is listing for such things as DRL and non DRL equipped so I would think so. Both manuals need to be ordered thru Mstore and not regular parts ordering. The wiring diagram shows currently available but workshop manual is special order so make take a bit longer to get one.
www.onlinemazdaparts.com is listing them for a little bit less and should have free shipping.

Check your public library. Our public library shares the campus and facility with the junior college. The junior college has an auto mechanics course so they have a 4 user (at the same time) license for AllDataPro. This has all service manuals, recalls, tech notes for all cars I have checked. Or, the last time I checked, you could get a year's subscription for one car for $25. This is what independent garages use that service many makes of cars. The only drawback is you have to go to the library to use it.

I got mine at the dealer. I think it was $150. Its not like a conventional manual like one I had for my Toyota supra. Very little procedural stuff for mechanical dissassembly and reassembly. Mostly computer test procedures.
