Hi all,
My cx7 is old needs new wheels and tires original P215/70R17. Can i put on a cx5 set of wheels with P225/65R17 tires. Thanks for the help.

I checked the info on the rims cx7 has 7Jx17 ET45 7" wide 17 circumference and the offset is 45mm, The cx5 rims are 7Jx17 ET50 the 5mm plus offset difference. It is more inside and the tires are a bit wider too. Not sure if it would have enough clearance. I know they sell spacers. I guess a 1/4" would be roughly 5mm. Never used one. Anyone out there with spacers? Safe? Works?
