i have a 2008, its driving me crazy. its stuck in third. but when i run the scan its not running a TCM code but its having issues at the shifting linkage with the TCM, what do i do? ive googled like crazy. please help me. i dont want replace tranny if i can just replace TCM and be good. the other forums dont give me same insight

Alot of aftermarket scan tools either don't read the TCM full stop, or are lacking in their range of fault codes. I would recommend a scan by MAzda before you go replacing parts.
The TCM is shown as a replaceable item in the workshop manual.
