My 09 mazda cx7 has been idling rough and dying at idle. We replaced the spark plugs, and cleaned the mass air flow sensor and used fuel injection cleaner. Still having the problem. Any advice???

 

Get a ECU/PCM diagnostic check carried out.

Check for boost/vaccum leaks.

 

We did that. The guy at the store said to start by changing the plugs. Now is so bad I can't even drive it.

 

So there were no codes?

 

I had an issue with my 3 that fit those symptoms. It turned out to be a stuck/bad check valve in the fuel recovery system.
The good news is that it was mounted right on top of the engine so easy to get to. The bad news is the part cost $185.
On you're 2.3L Turbo I'm not sure where the part would be. I'm told that sometimes just whacking it with the handle of a screwdriver can loosen it up and get it working again. I haven't tried that.

 

I got the call from the shop today. It's a bad coil which fouled the new plugs. 200$ later I get my baby back by Friday.

 

I troubleshoot it every problem on this for him and have not found a solution to fixing idle problem on the Mazda CX-7 code reader says fuel intake problems and air intake problems does anyone have any other Solutions cuz I'm at a f****** loss
