2012 brake light not functioning

Hi,

I have an problem with my brake lights that just start today on my 2012 CX-7. The only brake light that works is the hatch brake light. The two main ones do not. The brake light switch functions, The bulbs are fine, all other lights function and the stop fuse is fine, too. I've looked everywhere for a possible solution but I cannot figure this one out. Nothing was changed in the car, they just stopped working. Does anyone have an idea of what may be happening. I'd appreciate any ideas.

Thanks,
~ c

For piece of mind replace the bulbs. They may look fine to the naked eye. Unless you have a multimeter to test the bulbs & the bulb sockets, this is your best bet.

Thanks for the idea. The bulbs have been metered and tested fine. I did go ahead and changed them, as well. I checked and there's no voltage going to them. the hatch is working, but both lower ones have no voltage - right out of the bluie. Is there another fuse inline that's hiding somewhere? I'm trying to find a wiring diagram, but without much luck.

I have the same issue. Did you work out what the problem was?
