X on passenger side dash

I got into my 2013 Mazda CX5 this morning and noticed an x and an indent on the dash. I’ve had the car for 6 years and I have detailed it repeatedly and never saw it before. It looks like an x where the airbag is.

Does anyone know what it is? Is it on anyone else’s CX5? Should I be concerned

That's where the airbag comes out of. Below is an image of what that would look like. Obviously let's hope that doesn't happen!
