Please help, anyone. We have a Mazda CX five 2019. Signature addition and have a cracked windshield such that we need to replace the windshield. There are two items on the passenger side and on the interior of the vehicle. At this point talked to several glass replacement people, including Safelite , we have been to a Mazda dealership and talked to the sales manager and the service manager, none have seen this previously. Can anyone offer some guidance? Please see attached pictures.
Much as I hate saying it there really are very few automotive glass experts.... at least understanding the full aspects of the product, they service which is mainly replacing the glass.
The pictures are not clear, and I can't tell which side of the glass the fracture is and how it is fractured.
Try CLEANING the glass and taking some better pictures both sides using standard and macro setting on your camera.
If the pictures indicate inside fracturing, then that should be arguable for a warranty if not curtesy glass replacement? Outside not likely you will get either.

How the heck dealer doesn't know? They're antennas for MMS, Mazda Mobile Start, already discontinued. It was a "goodwill" program in effect but expired this past June. They would removed antennas, MMS module and modify asBuilt, if not done properly you might have issues starting your car. If you don't want to deal with clueless dealer peel antennas and placed them out of the way or install back in the new windshield.

The title of this thread is windsheild items?????
Which is a little confusing/misleading if you don't read it a couple of times, but clearly the OP is asking directly about the windshield glass. So if anyone re-read the first post and what is written I am sure we all will conclude unless the OP clerifies, the concern is about breakage ,cracked, fractured windshield glass? The pictures also support this as well!
Maybe you should re-read the first post. The OP is asking about cracked glass and possible causes that the dealership and other auto glass services can't answer! not the electronics!

Thank you, the problem is a cracked windshield that needs to be replaced. The concern is what are the two "antennae" and what to do about them so that all things function electrical and otherwise function normally.

Thank you, you are spot on and appreciate greatly your input. Found a you tube that showed both antennae!
