Just got a salvage 2018 cx-5 today with a very light front end hit. Trying to figure out what plugs in here. Looks like relays? I'm pretty sure I'm missing a part. This just in front of the driver side tire.

I'm also can't get the car started. Getting keyless ignition malfunctioned when trying and a flashing amber light. Hopefully this part is related?

 

Ok, after digging around in the shop manual I found this is for very important relays main engine relay and fuel pump. I have no idea why they would have them in a separate inaccessible box. But anyway, after stealing relays from the main box, the car started right up. Any idea what relays should be in here?

 

Also if anyone has any idea where to find the relay box cover it would be very helpful. I've searched everywhere and no luck.

 

Don't mean to criticize your ride but I imagine they're all that way.The understructure sure looks flimsier than I would have expected.

 

That's just the part that holds the fender and bumper cover off the frame. It's all pretty solid when bolted together. Anyone if anyone is looking for this cover it's part number grt8-66752. Online it shows it's only for Mazda 6, but it also fits CX-5.

 

I'm sure you're right, it just looked a lot like the monocoque structure in a Cessna. I'm used to the Detroit Iron. Now I'm afraid to look under my CX5... ;=>
