Default Warranty for Service Bulletin?

Hello,

My 2014 CX-5 was draining the battery randomly, in addition the driver side window quit working. The dealer told me that this is covered by bulletin no: 09-005/14, Subject: VARIOUS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION(S) RELATED TO C-15 CONNECTOR CORROSION.

My car is out of warranty. I read the bulletin and it states the following:
- This warranty information applies only to verified customer complaints on vehicles eligible for warranty repair.
- This repair will be covered under Mazda’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty term.

Have any of you succeeded in getting Mazda to cover the cost of this bulletin on a car that is not under warranty?

Service bulletins are not typically free to the customer if the vehicle is out of warranty. That said, some dealers might give you a "good will" repair.

Thanks, I am aware of this. I am specifically asking if anyone has had SB 09-005/14 covered outside of the standard warranty.
