Being in biotech I was already well aware of the plastic issue and others.
Plastic has chemical/health and environmental issues from manufacturing to disposal. It has an endless negative impact on the planet and all living things.
Glass has zero chemical/health issues and minimal environmental issues.
It is infinitely recyclable; the only drawback is it does use more energy to make and transport compared to plastic.
Plastic is here to stay because it increases the profit margin which is what every single business bases its bottom line on.
