Default Ventilated seats - How well do they work?

I am looking to buy a Touring or Grand Touring CX-5 with or without the premium package. I live in Florida so I think the ventilated seats would be worth the $ to pay the premium package but I’ve never had them.

Do you find they really make a difference?

Yes, especially on long drives when the weather is hot.
It will keep your back and bottom cool and dry ;-)

The good thing is that even without it, the car cools down very fast and the seats don't really get too hot from the sun on both the leatherette and real leather trims.

Mine works great I have black interior so it heats up quick in the sun but with air and vented seats it cools down quick

I bought a 2020 GT used and was deciding at the time between premium and non-premium optioned cars that were otherwise identical. Opted for premium mostly for the heads-up display but later was pleasantly surprised how much I came to appreciate the ventilated seats! On a hot day, it’s a game-changer.

I agree, when really hot, they are a nice option to have. In Florida, definitely get that option.

They work better than bmw 7 series ftom 2005...somewhat cooler than bmw, worth extra money in hot climates

It never gets hot enough here to know, but the heaters work great.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it .

They work really well on our 21 GTR. The fans are a bit loud on the highest setting, but we just turn up the music.
