turbo engine blew apart
I have a new CX-5 bought in July 2023 in the Netherlands.
This car is a mild hybrid with start-stop system.
Stopping and starting the engine with this mild hybrid is so smooth that you don't notice anything, except that you don't hear and feel the engine running while you are standing still.

It still has the same command ****. Touchscreen functions are limited from what I understand (I think you have to be stopped to use them).
Yeah I knew it has the command dial since I have 2024 right now as a loaner. I just didn't know it was also a touch screen.
Engine is a NA 165 HP Manual.
Battery is a small 24V Lithium-Ion and provides a small boost when accelerating.
It charges while braking and provides a very smooth start-stop experience.
I'm back. Just a little under 3 weeks and I have a new engine in my CX-5 turbo. So far so good. Is there anything I need to do to help keep this thing alive this time? I had been having oil/filter changed at my dealer every 5,000. Is that too little? Any service I should be getting? Or is this just a sometimes you get a bad one and find out years later thing?
