New owner of a 2018 CX5 and was wondering if anyone could suggest a great steering wheel cover to protect the one that comes with the vehicle.

Cheapos are at Walmart. Better ones are at AutoZone.. Nicest are at dealer $$$.

 

Sigh...I guess its off to the dealer....not going to cheap out now

 

Anyone know if putting a cover on the heated steering wheel could damage it in any way? Other than taking a little longer for it to heat up, think it could cause any damage in the long run? I typically only turn it on for 10-15 minutes...

 

Don't know if it would cause any damage to the steering wheels, but typically those steering covers release chemical fumes which are definitely not healthy for you. I assume heating them up will make it only worse.

You can stitch it on yourself, easypeazy - I did it to my Audi as well as my Jaguar XF and I'll be fitting a alcantara one to my CX-5.
