Default Seat heaters

I have a 2021 GT-R. 22,000 miles. My wife has been complaining that it takes too long for the passenger seat to warm up when the seat heater is turned on, even on high. So today i finally checked it out. The drivers seat seems to heat up to where it is noticeable in about 30 seconds but the passenger seat takes over a minute longer before heat is detected. Does anyone else notice this? The dealer said to bring it in next week and they would look at it but would like to have a feeling if this is common before they start tearing into the seats.

Even though it takes slightly longer for the passenger seat to feel like it's warming up, does it feel like the same amount of heat is being produced as the driver's seat?

The setting adjusted the samre:
Both seats
should heat at the same rate. Have the dealer look at it.

Yeah, i would think both should heat up at the same rate. They both seem to heat up to the same warmth, but don't have an infrared thermometer to test, but maybe this is the excuse to buy one.

Have an appt scheduled with dealer next week.

Not think... they do. They use exactly the same component designs and system controls.

And yes thermal handheld devices are inexpensive and have a multitude of uses. Just remember that most do not register correct temperatures on shiny reflective items. Often times misunderstood. Unless the device indicates otherwise. but those more expensive readers are not needed for general usage.
