Default Safety "reclassification"

Has anyone else experienced an annual rate increase for a "safety reclassification" of their 2021 CX-5? Each year it's gone up. It had a great rating when I bought it. What happened? Are there recalls I don't know about? Any ideas?

The 2023 CX5 gets a good 5 star rating ,you can check on other year models here https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2023/MAZDA/CX-5/SUV/AWD. If I remember correctly ,there was an issue with the rear passenger seats/belts on the 2023 CX5.

The 2021 had a great rating when I bought it, too.
According to your link, it still does. I'm trying to determine if it's throughout the insurance industry or just my company.

The Insurance industry is only in business to extract as much money and profit out of it's customers as possible. They are leach's that make a living out of the fear and miss fortune of their customers .

My apology. My error of CX50 instead of CX5 was because I've been researching the newer models. My apologies for the confusion.

That just sounds like your insurance company making up BS charges...
