Replacing Wheels on 2014 Touring AWD
I think we may try to replace the wheels on our daughters 2014 CX-5 Touring with the 19" wheels that come of the upscale versions. The ones I am speaking of look like the ones in the ebay ad at Mazda CX-5 2016 19" Factory OEM Wheels Rims Set.
I am wondering if there is any reason that we should not do this. They look nice but I don't want to hurt the car, etc.. Also not sure if bolt pattern is the same.
We just put a set of General AltiMAX RT43 tires on the car (17"). If we get the 19" is the same tire recommended? It seems that the OEM 19" tire was a Toyo and gets terrible reviews (not sure why).
Anyway, let me know your thoughts, and thanks!

All CX-5 OEM wheels are interchangeable. You can use the appropriate-sized RT43 on the 19s as well. Keep in mind you may notice a slight degradation in ride quality with the shorter sidewall. The offsetting benefit is that lower profile tires tend to have slightly sharper turn-in for more responsive handling.

225/55R19 is the standard size for a CX-5 with 19" factory wheels

If you want to go +1, that's your business, though I don't see any reason to.
