Question Reflections from dash onto windows

Has anybody else noticed reflections from the chrome on the dashboard reflecting on to the side windows? It happens to be right where the side view mirrors are and it a distraction.

I am thinking about get the chrome that surrounds the air vents covered up, but I am not sure what is the best solution. I used a black dry erase marker to see if it made a difference, and it did. I am looking for something more permanent.

I notice it if I'm looking for it. Otherwise my plane of focus is at the object reflected in the mirror - not the window. Not really an issue (for now).

What year? I know for the 2016 models there is a TSB to change the aluminum trim around the vents to black.

That's what the OP is talking about. I thought there was a TSB on it. Maybe you can refer him/her to that document so he can present it to his dealer?

BTW; an alternative would be to just spray paint the trim flat black.

It is a 2016. What is a TSB? Transportation Safety Board?

Pipemajor- i usually focus on the object, sometimes the reflections make it difficult.

Technical Service Bulletin: a document prepared by Mazda and distributed to dealers that tells them how to diagnose and repair known problems.

Don't know what it is. Saw something about it on the other forum. Haven't been able to tack it down. Was gong to ask about it at my next service visit. Right now polarized sunglasses are solving the issue for me.
