Rear windows child position

Is there a way to allow the rear widows to fully open, i.e. turn off the child partial open functionality?

I didn't even know that there was such a thing on our cars. My 2016.5 doesn't have this.

It may have changed on the gen 2 car. It would be helpful if posters state which year and model CX-5 they own!
