[QUOTE=Cometstorm;233436]2022 CX 5 Premium Plus.

i was replacing all my interior lights with LED’s.

When I popped the lens cover off the passenger rear dome assembly, “something” very tiny fell out.

Vanished into ”no find land” (of course!).

Weeks went by without finding it.

Damn!

That light lens cover when replaced, had no “click” sound anymore. So no light there.

Yesterday a rear seat passenger (rare to have one), found a little black piece back there.

It looks nothing like a switch. More like a connector with a tiny light bulb. There were three tiny copper connector blades.

it had a number imprinted, but did me no good on a search.

Flash! I had an idea!

Take a picture and “google lens” it in a internet search.

I never did that before. Didn’t even know about it.

Bam! An immediate match was found!

It WAS in fact the PUSH BUTTON switch for behind the lens!

What I thought was a tiny light bulb, was actually a clear button with a micro spring inside.

i haven’t put it back in yet, as I’m out state on vacation. Florida Keys… 🤗

Hope this helps someone else going forward,
