Ready for cargo.
Getting ready to take a shirt trip. The GF cannot seem to get the idea of "pack light". We aren't going very far or very long time away. Just a short camping trip. I added the roof rack and rear cargo carrier to get everything in. I normally have both in the garage as the rack slurps fuel and hums on the highway. I can put the cooler on the rear rack, tent on the roof and everything else inside. Now, she wants to take a kayak and two bicycles.
I told her no. The CX-5 is a great car and very versatile, but there are limits to what it can handle. I had a 2000 Cadillac Escalade previously and she would get it full to the brim.

I've considered both. I'm mainly looking for a small trailer. I had one I pulled behind my GL1800 Goldwing but sold it along with the bike when I went blind. Many, many dollars later, I got new eyes and regret selling the trailer.
