Default Rare and exotic (as of March 27, 2012)

I have yet to see one CX-5 on the road besides mine, as of March 27, 2012. So these things are still rare.

And yet, they seem to be selling like hotcakes!!
The same happened when I first bought my 3. They were selling but didn't I wasn't seeing any. Then they started to become more, and more common.
Enjoy the exclusivity while you can. It won't be too long......

For sure, rare for a few more days. But I expect to see lots soon especially around here being big on imports.

Wait a bit until new shipments hit the dealers lots. When I got mine it was the very first one sold in our metro area. That was 3 weeks ago and I'm sure as of now there are about 10 other sold (looking at dealer inventories). The thing is that in our metro area there are about 200k people living which means probably about 300k cars. Until they sell hundreds it will be very rare car here.

April fools day, still only CX5 on road around here. Not expecting that to last much longer...

April 5, 2012, still rare on the roads. And new cars are all over the place, shouldn't be long before I see a bunch of CX-5's...

The 3 dealers in my area said they're selling one per day and can't keep them on the lot - but I've yet to see another one on the road.

Same here, I can see the dealers are turning inventory. I do expect to see many on road soon enough.

I've seen at least three around here in the three most popular colors.
The weirdest spotting though was yesterday when one followed me most of my ride home. It was a white one with two 35 something women in it, and the one driving couldn't drive!! LOL First I was behind them. Then I got ahead and stayed there. She was all over the road. Speed was up then down, then up again. I don't know what the heck they were doing in there but traffic was pretty heavy. She better pay more attention to the road or that car could be a first (casualty.)
