Default Pulling 2,000 lb trailer with CX-5

Hello, I have been reading up on spec as well as opinions, and am not at all clear. I want to tow a travel trailer with my 2.5 liter front wheel drive Mazda. I know the max trailer capacity is 2,000 lbs. People and cargo in vehicle would be around 300 lbs. The curb wt of the vehicle is 3,433 lbs. The GVWR is 4,500 lbs. Any tips on what weight t travel trailer will work adequately with this vehicle, and whether I need an oil cooler? I love this SUV and only have 20k miles on it.
I could go through the hassle of perhaps buying a used Chevy Colorado, which has a towing capacity of 7,700 lbs, but I'd like to keep the Mazda. Is it realistic for me to think I can find a travel trailer that will work with my vehicle? I'm really NEEDING some knowledgeable info here. Thanks for any assistance!!

Interesting. The 2019 CX-5, sold in Australia has a maxed braked tow rating of 1800kgs - 3900 lbs, and the turbo model, with uprated towbar can haul 2,000kgs - 4400 lbs

I'm not sure why you're asking this. If you know the capacity is 2,000, and your cargo is 300, a little arithmetic tells you the trailer can be up to 1,700 lbs.
