Default Programmable seats?

Hello all,

I was looking through my manual of my new 2016 CX-5 and it says that you can program two settings for the drivers seat and even make it key specific. So I went out to my car to program the seat but there is no "set" button or a "1" or "2" button like the manual says. Is that an option? I have an electric front seat, just no program buttons. I purchased the tech pkg as well.

Thanks,

Rick

From page 2-8 of the 2016 CX-5 owners' manual:

Seat Position Memory (Driver's
seat) *
The seat position memory function allows
you to program the driver's seat to a
desired seat position and to call up a
programmed position with the simple
touch of a button.

*Some models

Asterisks mean something!

Thanks Paris1. What does "some models" mean? I would think that the Grand Touring model would have that option. Are there different "models" of the Grand Touring model? I couldn't find anything on the Mazda website or in the manual that specifies which model has the programmable seats. Thanks for clarifying the asterisk thing. I didn't think they meant anything. Lol

Your owners manual will cover multiple vehicles in multiple markets around the world.

Lack of a memory seat option has been a sore subject with CX-5 owners since day one.

Maybe, but UK and probably Australia/New Zealand has them as an option.
