Picking up 2017 AWD GT/Premium tomorrow. What else to get?
Just joined the forum because I'm picking up my first Mazda, a 2017 AWD GT/premium CX-5, tomorrow morning. The accessories aren't showing up in any of the regular Internet spots and a few of the ones that I wanted aren't even showing up in the dealer's system yet. I'm currently considering front and rear splash guards, cargo cover and cargo tray. I'm torn on buying the OEM all-weather floormats or getting Weathertech mats like I usually use once they are eventually available. The OEM all-weather mats look great with the vehicle but don't look they'd cover nearly as well as the Weathertech mats.
I'm getting white exterior paint and like having everything white/black/polished so I'm also torn on getting the factory brushed finish roof rails. I would really rather have black or polished/chrome. I saw mazdarati16's great pictures of the factory roof rails that he painted black with plastic dip in the "root rack" thread. Anyone else have any favorites roof rails that I should consider?
I don't expect to need to pull any trailers anytime soon, but I wouldn't mind having the trailer hitch for a hitch-mounted bike rack or trailer hitch-mounted cargo carrier, but the OEM hitch looks pretty flimsy. Is the limitation on towing weight shown for the hitch a limitation of the hitch or a limitation of the vehicle?
Also, is anyone actually using the polished "zoom zoom" license plate frames? I can't decide if I like them or they're just over the line into cheesy.
What else should I be thinking about picking up?
