Passenger door lock broken. Won’t unlock or lock with fob. All other doors are working. I have checked the fuse in the left side fuse box and it’s fine. Mazda are quoting me $150 just to look at it so wondering if anyone else has suggestions?

Try reset, take negative pole of battery 2 min. and reassemble the negative pole, then you may be lucky that it works.

 

So the door can be unlocked and locked manually from the inside?...only the fob is the one that doesn't lock or unlock that specific door?

 

that’s correct. I can unlock and lock it by the manual lock (it doesn’t make a sound at all) but doesn’t work with fob. All other doors are working

 

Try the above recommendation about disconnecting the battery and keep us posted.

 

This happened to me, first with my right rear lock under warranty, and now with my right front lock not under warranty. Sounds like Mazda has issues with their door locks... anyone else run into this? I have a 2019 CX-5.
