This showed up on the passenger floor mat. Must have fallen from under the dash somewhere. Any idea what it is?

 

Any numbers or writing on it at all? I'm guessing it's the dampening shock for the glove box that clicks into the right side of it, but I could be wrong. Try opening it and see if it's still attached, and if it slams open then you'll know.
