I recently bought a used 2012 Maxda CX5 and I want to fit it with a nudge bar so I can safely open my front Bump Gate. An installer said he thought the 2012 model did not have parking sensors, but he was unsure. Can anyone tell me if it is OK to fit a nudge var?

 

If the nudge bar complies with ADR ( Australian Design Rules) then its legally ok.

Maxx & Maxx Sport don't have front Park sensors, not sure on GT.
