Can anyone point me in the right direction (uk) where I might purchase
a set of black rims of the kind fitted to the 2022 cx5 sport black model.
Surely buying them direct from Mazda isn't the option?

 

When you say "of the kind" do you mean the same exact wheels or similar look?

For the OEM wheels you're going to pay OEM $$$ for those. They are so new that a Mazda dealer will likely be your only source. I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a wheel just for it to look stock.

You might want to check out a high quality aftermarket wheel. In my experience Enkei is good and has great (75%+) resale value. There are others as well.

 

Sometimes you can score a good deal locally on take-offs also, if you are patient. The CX-5 uses a common bolt pattern (5x114.3) and +45 offset for the 2nd gen. 67.1 hub bore, so many Hyundai/Kia wheels will fit right on, and others with the same bolt pattern and close offset will fit with just hubcentric rings. https://bolt-pattern.com/
