I'm a new member, so thanks in advance for any help going forward. My son has a 2015 CX-5, and I was looking at aftermarket products that enable Apply Car Play. I see that Road Top has a "wireless" unit, just wondering if anyone has any experience with it, or has suggestions for other units to consider, and if there are any issues/downsides to consider.

I did try a search, but no success.

I may be wrong but I don't believe that the 2015 infotainment system is compatible with Car Play.

 

2015s aren't carplay or android auto compatible. You will need an aftermarket head unit do that.

 

I think the official statement is "CarPlay and Android Auto can now be installed in any 2014 model-year or newer Mazda vehicle that has the MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system"

So I would check with your local Mazda Dealer.
