Hello Everyone. I have a 2013 CX- 5 diesel. The old battery began giving problems when starting so I decided to get a new battery now something strange is happening. After fitting the new battery the 7.5A fuse that feeds the port used for diagnosis is blowing. When I put back the old battery it works fine, put the new battery on the fuse blows again. It's the only part of the the car that's being affected by the new battery.

What might be causing this issue?

Its not the battery!

 

First "guess" would be a faulty port or wiring to it.
