I've accidentally left my door ajar, the door seals require a firm shove to close. I didn't have any problems. I thought the interior lights shut down after a while to save the battery. I think the dealer was grasping. Fingers crossed it was just a fluke, you do have documentation of the problem if it happens again.

I looked it up, the lights will go off if they are left on using the switch, it didn't say anything about door ajar.

Hmmm... You're right. There isn't an event like that. That's troubling...

I'm going to be keeping a sharp eye on this as time goes on. You bet that I'll be updating here if anything else related comes up in the future.
