In my area the Mazda dealers still have cars- Not many but some... Are other parts of the country at near zero? I have noticed the sales figures are really bad the past two months..

 

Lots of empty lot space by me as well.

 

Plenty of empty spaces, if you head around the lot to see what they've got, at the two Mazda dealerships within ~15 miles of me. They've readjusted their lot layout to appear as though there are more cars than there are.

The past several months show year-on-year sales to be markedly down from 2021. (Though, 2020 and 2021 were awfully strange years.) The lack of computer chips for newly-built cars also has to be giving the "majors" ulcers, when added to the general production supply-chain problems.

All the dealers around here have the employees parking their personal vehicles on the sales lot as well to give the appearance of business as usual.
