Mazda planned carbon capture car
The only reason something like this hasn't been seen yet is because of money.
The same thing happened when we went from horse to motor cars, candles to gas/electric lights, wood to coal, and coal to fuel oil, gas and gasoline.
The people with all the money who controlled the horses, wax, wood and coal didn't want anything to change.
Much like the oil and gas companies who pretty much control everything today.
No one who owns the commodity gives a crap about anything but staying rich.
No businessperson ever wants to ever find fuel source that is renewable, cheap and nearly free of charge.
My State University was the first to create a viable biofuel from pond algae, but you'll never see it readily marketed as it is essential a nearly free replenishable fuel source.
