Default Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring 2015

Hi guys just wanting some advice. I have just recently purchased a second hand Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring 2015 model. It’s got 73,000ks so fairly low. Prev owner had it serviced every 10,000 at Mazda (I have the service book) with last service conducted in Oct 2019. I’ve had it approx 1 month. The last week it has started shuddering under load in low revs regardless of the speed. I had a mechanic have a looked and he’s stumped cannot see anything and referred me into a transmission specialist - mechanic did think maybe need a new gear box but I just cannot understand how this is possible for car with such low ks. Has anyone had any similar issues and can help me at all or guide me in the right place. I was going to book in with Mazda to be diagnosed but wanted to get users opinion.

If possible, book it at the Mazda dealer where the previous owner had the car serviced. They will know the history of the car best. I pretty much know the Service Managers and mechanics at my Mazda dealer and they "knew" my car because by coincidence, the previous owner "Amy" had it serviced there too. Even though I bought it from a used car lot 20 miles away...... so they were able to tell me that Amy took very good care of the car, never any issues.

You could try a bottle of SeaFoam fuel system cleaner between service visits.
My GM V-6 would run rough on occasion and the SeaFoam put it back to right.

My 2¢
