PLS HELP!
Last week while driving my Mazda CX-5 Skyactive 2,2, diesel yellow warning message " Vehicle system malfunction" showed up.
When I restarted car, message disappeared and after approx. 7 min. driving showed again.
I went to car service to check this out and they read codes: P06DE:00 -2F and P0524:00 - 28.
When guys opened engine, they were in shock to see the situation. Basically all engine is destroyed... I´m shocked more than guys in service because how could it happen?!?
I bought this car used from the dealer 1,5 year ago...NOTHING showed that there could be any problem. No sounds, no lights...nothing...I changed oil and etc. on the right time...

How can yellow warning sign "Vehicle system malfunction" can show up when all engine is already destroyed?!? Why nothing showed up before that?

Does anybody had the same experience?

I'm afraid something is being lost in translation. It sounds like you drove the car in to the service station. When you state "all engine is destroyed" what do you mean? Was it visibly damaged from outside, or they drained the oil and found metal pieces in the oil?

I don't know anything about the skyactive diesel engine other than the sporatic issues with overheating.

 

I'd like to know how you drove your car to the dealership with "Basically all engine is destroyed"?

Normally a destroyed engine won't run. Care to elaborate?
