Default Infotainment ****

Looking to buy a newer vehicle (2019+) & just noticed how sweet the CX-5 looks. I was just wondering which Infotainment controls are on the steering wheel & which functions specifically require the use of the ****. Unfortunately, due to wrist surgery I am unable to reach the **** comfortably. (I'm mostly concerned about the audio system controls.)

Unfortunately, you will need to use the center console **** pretty extensively to effectively use the system...

While I like the screen location, the system is kind of a pain to use- I would much prefer a touch screen like everyone else uses...but the Bose version actually sounds pretty good for stock to me.

Carplay wasn't designed to be used with the wheel. It takes longer IMO to find what you want to highlight on the screen with the wheel than a quick touch would making it less safe. For the stock system if you're not using carplay I'm sure its fine but I always use carplay so for me this will be the last car I buy with this method of control.

Once I started using the wheel after awhile it just becomes second nature. Most of the things I do are repetitive so it is now muscle memory. I have to admit tho using the wheel is an extra step here and there tho. You do get a nice info screen with no finger prints doing it with the wheel.
