i-stop cure
If anybody is like me, I hate the i-stop function especially maneuvering into a tight car space, (touch the brake and buggar...stopped again) I know you can de-activate every trip but at my age I'm having trouble remembering my false teeth when I go out. Anyway, if you want to get rid of the bloody thing:
Open bonnet and remove two plastic push on clips on the cover over the bonnet lock.
Use a small screwdriver to unclip the two clips in next cover.
Then you will see a plastic switch with a philips head screw fastening it.
That has a notch in the underside which locates it.
Loosen it enough to turn the switch away from the metal contact and then tighten it up.
Done.....No lights no alarms no i-stop
