how to tell cx5 2020 from 2019 model?
I think my country mazda dealership are selling 2019 models as 2020 because when they started selling the 2021 model they are still having the old infotainment system. is there a way to tell that the current cx5 2020 is the actual 2020 not the 2019?
Sure, enter the VIN into the decoder below. It will give you the model year and additional information.

It’s always viewable through the windshield at the bottom edge in the forward side of the dashboard. At least on every car over the last umpteen years. I can’t envision it being different in the Middle East than the rest of the world.
The production DATE and the vin are in the drivers door jam. The dash area only has the VIN while you can look up the VIN it is easy just to look at the production date in the drivers door jam .
Most cars production year start before the actual upcoming year. The actual production date is important because you could have a 2021 manufactured in as soon as September of 2020
This often plays some fun when getting insurance as well the correct replacement parts.
Besides even in most all countries it is illegal to sell an authorized auto manufactured car (DEALER) calling it the wrong model year.

My MGA's where on the firewall. Also all my AC Cobra's (built in the 80's) were also in the engine compartment and on the frame in the trunk. Maybe that was over umteen years ago.....

But in all fairness I am likely older then umteen years anyway... ha!

Do you hear the echo...do you hear the echo...do you hear the echo....

Refer to response # 5

This is not the first time you have jumped in a thread with a response before actually reading the thread completely?
