So take the info you were told with a grain of salt. They are going to be on the safe side so you don't complain later if anything happens. You are not going to have issues with warranty if you aren't cutting wires (which you would not with the setup I used for the front bulbs). I am a little confused by your reply as you seem to be saying you don't want to use aftermarket LED bulbs vs swapping the entire assemblies to the OEM LED (which would still leave you with incandescent turn signals) but you were asking about other members experiences with aftermarket LED's...

As for your friend, maybe they didn't get what they said they did? Make sure to buy LED turn signal bulbs with built-in resistors. They will not hyperflash. I mean, who is going to run their turn signal bulbs for more than 5min at a time anyway? I never do. Maybe if you were sitting on the side of the road with your hazards on?
Yeah, it would be mostly for the "sitting on the side" (or double parked) with the flashers on. Around here, (in PA), there are not very many that actually even USE them anyway! (UNLESS it is to "show off" their colored (NOT amber like they should be) LEDs because they like their vehicles "colorful" & "loud"...and that is NOT just the 'young-er' generation anymore.
I maybe worded things differently than I should have and possibly mixed up the wording by deciding between aftermarket LEDs & the assemblies (which I thought came with COMPLETE set of LED that INCLUDED the turn signal/flashers on one of the highest trims, so THANK YOU FOR THAT INFORMATION!) , so THAT WAS MY MISTAKE...ALONG WITH THE MISUNDERSTANDING OF HOW I WORDED THINGS, SO MY APPOLOGIES!!!
I ALSO would like to Thank You for your reply. IF you had the set for the FRONT signals with the 'included inline resistor', where did you find a place to tuck the extra in and did that "enclosed resistor" get hot? (I seen some reviews of them where they actually or supposedly melted the plastic housing it was touching) because I am NOT familiar with those type since they are fairly new (to me anyway) and do you have a 'preferred' make? ..Even if they are from amazon. (It is a LOT easier to return to amazon than the manufacturer themself).
As for my friend, he's a politician....need I say more?...(I think you get my meaning).

The way the front ones worked was the original bulb was removed and and harness with new LED bulb was inserted into the OEM harness. Just clicks in place (and can be readily reversed if desired). The resistor is a small metal box (included in the wiring harness) that I attached to the metal behind the headlights. No issues with heat at all. I think all of my stuff was from Amazon.

Thank you. I will have to narrow my search and check again. I appreciate your helpful alternative. BTW, when doing all 3, was there any radio interference or problems with wireless android auto, phone functions or backup camera? I still sporatically get the "ghost touch" on my infotainment and am considering the "ribbon cutting" because: 1. The warranty won't cover replacing UNLESS it does it in their presence, and with them being 40 minutes away, it seems that when I get there, it just can't be replicated. 2. Since the touchscreen is "disabled" above 10-15 mph (I forget exactly) and need to use the console controls anyway (as if THAT is 'safer' taking your eyes off EVERYTHING to find the right button to press) but the use of the touchscreen is completely disabled with the wireless android auto & NEED to use the **** & buttons anyway. I was just curious because of the wireless android auto, dash cam and the way any little thing sets off the ghost touch (with the EXCEPTION of when I WANT it to at the dealership!)

Zero issues with any of those things. I never had the screen issues others have had. I used an AAWireless connector as well with no problems.
