Default Help me please?

I have a 2016 Mazda cx-5 and the out cover of the drivers seat. It’s the plastic piece that wraps around the bottom of the seat that has the sliders to move the seat forward and back. The connectors that keep that attached have broken. I can’t find replacements. I have looked online and and o Reillys and I can’t find what works. Can someone help me?

Welcome to the forum

You may need to go to a website Real OEM Mazda parts to look. Have your VIN ready.
Or just contact a Mazda dealership parts department directly by phone!
If the part(s) are available separately from the seat they WILL still be available from Mazda as all parts are required to be made for 10 years after the Model and year was released.

Go here and enter the require info as Cali suggested and you'll find what you need.

Default Thanks!

I’ve been all over oem. Sadly they don’t have anything similar to what I need. They have rivets and such to keep fenders attached but that’s not what I’m looking for. Calling Mazda might be a good idea though.

correct it’s how piece 28/29 attach to the metal frame of the seat. I don’t see it on any diagram that I’ve found.

How are they attached? I would expect a clip molded into the cover itself? If that is the case, you may need to find seats to scavenge at a junkyard, or order new side covers.

Maybe take the seat to a motor trimmer. They are pretty resourceful at fixing these issues.

to translate what he is referring to is an auto upholstery shop.

The OP is from US …..

I remember when I was into British vehicles I had to learn all the term and jokes…..
not to mention British standard whitworth (BSW) or just Whitworth for short.

What do Brit’s drink warm beer…..?
Because all their fridges are wired by Lucas….. otherwise known as the Prince of Darkness. Ba..bump…bump … lol

Lucas. "Gentlemen should not motor after dark". Hey I still have some BSW spanners in the useless pile of SAE ones.
