Default GT type LED headlights

I have a 2017 CX5 touring and am looking at upgrading the headlights to the GT type LED ones. I have the auto leveling but not the AFS feature. Can I get the GT style and just install them- plug and play?? Will the headlight not be able to be aimed and will they stay aimed? There are the OEM ones from scrap yards (Ebay, etc) and also the aftermarket Spyder brand and a couple others that look awesome but are still plenty expensive.

I hate the DRL function on these headlights but before I deprogram them, I wanted some other way to be seen with lighting. The LED running light function on the GT type would work well. Any ideas what will work?

On my Ford Truck, changing from Halogen to LED factory lights requires some changes to the BCM module with Forscan. LED lights use PWM to handle the brightness changes for DRLs and low/high beam. I suspect the CX-5 is the same.

The head lights I have are LED. But the Touring doesn't have the LED strip marker type lights that I would like that the signature lights have.
