Hi, newbie here. We have a 2012 cx5 AWD 2.2d sportnav. We have had a few issues with fuel recently. Looks like we may have had bad diesel at some point and we actually broke down while away on a road trip over the summer. The AA were able to get us going but it appeared that we had run out of fuel when the range indicator showed over 100 miles and just under a quarter of a tank left. When trying to start the car, the AA machine was showing no pressure from.the fuel tank. After putting in 2 jars of diesel and using easy start the car started. We got it checked at home and the garage changed the fuel filter after seeing the diesel was virtually black. We then drove it for a while and have just had the fuel filter changed again on their recommendation and pleased to say the diesel was clear. My issue is that after just filling the car with premium diesel my fuel range indicator is showing 660 miles. I have never seen it this high. The most when a full tank has been put is on 530 miles. Does this seem normal or have I possibly got a faulty unit?
