I have a CX-5 2014 2.2 Diesel L-Nav and everything runs smoothly except on some occasions when I step on the gas on an uphill after a few seconds several lights light on the dashboard and the tramsmission doesn't work properly. It doesn't shift up and it only shifts down when we almost stop. Once I turn the car off and then on, everything gets back to normal like it never happened. As you can see from the photos traction control light, warning light, tyre pressure, TPMS inspection and SCBS inspection all light up. Also, when this happens, the manual shift does not work. You can set the shift to manual but it does not shift up or down and the D indication does not change to M on the dashboard, it just goes blank.

It’s going into “limp home mode” which is normal when the ECU encounters any kind of driveline fault. Get it to a dealer and have them check for fault codes. That’s the first step in determining what the problem is.
