Default Driver attention alert?

Every time I drive my CX5, I get an obnoxious Driver Attention Alert about 45 minutes into my drive. This occurs on Interstates. I always drive alone, so I'm not twisting or turning my head to have conversations with the folks in the back seat.

What triggers this? Can it be adjusted? or turned off? Maybe I can wave my hand some magic way to tell the computer that I'm alive?

Year and trim? I have not had this happen in my 2021 CE, and the only times I’ve heard it mentioned is when the driver either has their hands off the wheel, or make no wheel movements over a certain time. Does this happen when the cruise control is on or off?

21 Signature.
I keep at least one hand on the wheel at all times, usually two at 10 & 2
Not sure if I can correlate it to cruise control. Most of the time when I'm on the Interstate, I'm using the adaptive cruise.
But I've also had it happen on a non-Interstate 55MPH divided highway

How does it work? What does it sense?
Its a good idea, but I'm not falling asleep 45 minutes into my drive.

Mine has gone off, I have a 2021 Signature. Cruise control can be on or off. I notice it will happen on highway drives, when steering input is slight, so perhaps sensing lack of input. It does surprise me when it goes off, but it's brief and doesn't really bother me. I had an Outback that had a similar feature, but it was every hour on the dot.

I turned mine off. It came on far too many times when I was not doing anything but… driving normally, safely, and fully awake.

I had to turn it off. It was going off regularly despite me watching the road. It was overly sensitive.
