Exclamation Does the CX-5 have a cabin (pollen) filter

I have about 21,000 miles on my CX-5 and love the vehicle. The owners manual refers to a cabin filter, but there is not any information as to it's location on the vehicle, the filter model number, nor how to change it. Does anyone have any information on this?

Yes it does. It is very simple for the DIY. Open glove box. Empty contents. Squeeze the sides of the glove box to drop down. U will see a tab or handle if u will. Just pull the tab. That's the filter. Push new one back in. Its that easy. Reinstall glvebox all the way in.

Thank you MazdaChris! Now all I need to do is find a cabin filter. Advanced Auto Parts and Auto Zone stores locally here in the Washington, DC area didn't know the filter number.

Also Amazon.com, You can put in what ever vehicles you have & as long as you have an acct. it will store it in your garage, So when you go back to look up any parts needed it will refer you back to what is available for your make & model, Pritty handy! Dan.

Default FYI: Reset of locked out bluetooth.2012 CX-9

I just found out yesterday that if your blue tooth locks you out there is a reset procedure on all Cx's as follows;

Hold down radio power button, preset 5 & seek down all @ the same time for a few seconds untill the display shows Password cleared. This info helped us out, hopefully it will be of interest for others! Dan.

Thumbs up

I am waiting as well, for Frame to start making the cabin air filter. Carbon with baking soda. Right now, there is just a cheap paper filter from Mazda. It was the first thing I checked after I brought the car home. I needed 3 arms and patience for the one in my Mazda 3. Kudos to Mazda for this and the oil filter and drain plug location.
