Default Diesel Intake System Cleaner

Any one had experience using a intake system cleaner on a diesel CX5?

Is it recommend?

If so, what product did you use? I see there's this Liqui Moly or the CRC GDI cleaners seem to come with a good reputation.

This looks like a serious product. https://prostream.com.au/product/ter...ntake-cleaner/
My personal belief is if a little gum-out and some superficial cleaning of the parts on a bench can't get it, leave it to a professional that specializes in this area (like the dealership).
( A flood of) UN-burned hydrocarbons will kill a catalytic converter,
